What is Rapid Transformational Therapy?

Rapid Transformational Therapy is a hybrid therapy, that offers unparalleled results; combining the most beneficial principles of Hypnotherapy,  NLP,  Psychotherapy & Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. It is a highly successful method for change and transformation, developed by world renowned author and highly acclaimed UK therapist Marisa Peer.  Influenced by the most effective aspects of a range of therapeutic techniques including hypnosis, CBT, psychotherapy and neurolinguistic programming, Marisa has developed RTT to emerge as a distinct therapeutic approach in its own right.  The RTT method uses hypnosis as a vehicle to help clients uncover and understand deeply held thought patterns and beliefs that may be limiting them, holding them back or exerting influence over their responses and behaviour.  The efficacy of RTT is that it reframes and updates these beliefs, creating positive and lasting change. I was trained to become certified as an RTT Practitioner, and I continue ongoing coaching and development with her and her team. I keep in touch with a group of Hypnotherapists, Psychologists and Psychotherapists who all agree this is the most effective method they have ever used or encountered.

We can effectively work through the issues (old beliefs) that rapidly come to the surface in order for you to process, understand, heal & rewire new, more beneficial, healthy beliefs and patterns.

Understanding and freedom around an issue is yours to take with you at the end of just one session. We’re all unique so occasionally it may take another one or two sessions per issue. Depression and anxiety may require several sessions.

This is not a band aid, the changes and freedom are permanent!

What can you expect from RTT session?

An RTT session generally lasts around 2+ hours.  Following a short discussion around the issue to be worked on, the client is gently led into hypnosis by the therapist where exploration into the source of their issue begins through specific questioning techniques. I start by putting you into a very relaxed state of hypnosis. You are always in control and you will remember everything afterwards. In this relaxed state with access to your subconscious mind, we revisit scenes from your life which have everything to do with where your deeper beliefs (which are driving your current behaviours) origeneted from. Looking at these scenes with your adult eyes, with my help and directions we can give new meaning to them and remove any irrational beliefs that you may have formed as a child. You then receive a recording which you listen to for 21-28 days. The mind learns by repetition and by hearing these suggestions every day you are programming yourself with habits of thought which will lead to the right habits of action. This is why RTT works so well for breaking habits like smoking or emotional eating, but it is also brilliant for PMDD/PMS mood swings, confidence issues, money blocks,  low self-worth, depression, anxiety, phobias, fears and so much more.

From an experiential perspective, clients often report that the process is deeply relaxing.  Some feel like it is "having a conversation with your eyes closed", others find that they emerge from the session feeling that the details are fuzzy.  What is important to remember is that there is no "right" way to feel and respond to being in hypnosis.  Its success lies in trusting in the process and accepting whatever experiences eventuate, rather than expecting to feel/experience a certain way.  Throughout the session, the client is always in control.

As therapists we use hypnosis as a therapeutic tool because access to the subconscious means that issues and their root causes can be dealt with quickly and permanently.  This means that the time and money a client needs to spend in and on therapy is drastically reduced in comparison to many other therapies.

What sets RTT apart from other therapies?

    * Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a pioneering therapy based on neuroscience, that offers fast, effective results by combining the  most beneficial principles of Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Neuro-Linguistics Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

    * RTT delivers extraordinary, permanent change from physical, emotional and psychological pain by reframing our core beliefs, values,  habits and emotions that are deep in the subconscious.

    * By rapidly rewiring the neural pathways of the brain, RTT replaces our outdated belief systems and negative patterns of behaviour. New      life affirming beliefs are formed and the healing process begins.

    * RTT offers unparalleled results. It works rapidly and removes the need for continuous therapy sessions. A single session can achieve  powerful results for a range of issues and it can be applied to both children and adults. More complicated issues and conditions may require  up to three sessions.
